Stuck Tongue- We are committed to the process of making clothes, ensuring each of our pieces are waste-free and ethically produced.
On the “I seen god on salvia” jacket, the back features various graphics I have worked on in the past. With the theme being “bloom” I saw this piece as a double entendres. More literally, the psychedelic called Salvia increases the number of neural connections in the mind, therefore creating the “trip” and visuals associated with psychedelics. I refer to this elevation of consciousness as the first bloom. The second ‘bloom’ comes from the graphics of the jacket. The “ I seem god on salvia” print was the first thing I had successfully printed, which pays homage to the beginning of my journey into fashion. The back features a variety of my different designs, old and new, displaying a bloom or evolution of my style.
My ideas and inspiration come from philosophy and nature as well as celebrities and other designers. I feel philosophy and nature bring meaning and artfulness to each piece, however, celebrities and other designers interpret these sentiments, turning them into art by displaying them to their audiences. My personal designer style is very influenced by streetwear, yet I try to encapsulate the meaning that many designer brands portray throughout their pieces.
I’m excited to see what the future holds.
