Each look was inspired by the profound parallels between the body's natural defense mechanisms and the external shields of armor. The looks come together to embody elegance, strength, and empowerment. The centerpiece of each look is the intricately designed breastplates, reminiscent of ancient warrior armor, yet reimagined through modern computational design methods and fabricated using 3D printing technology. Each breast plate was 3D printed The breastplates are seamlessly integrated into the designs, serving as both a focal point and a symbol of empowerment. The figure-hugging silhouettes of the cutout dress and bias cut skirt are constructed from luxurious black crepe fabric, chosen for its elegant drape and flattering fit.
As a mechanical engineering major turned fashion designer, my inspiration and ideas come from a fusion of my diverse background and experiences. Firstly, my years of dancing and ballet have instilled in me a profound appreciation for movement, flow, and the beauty of the human form. This understanding translates directly into my designs, where I aim to create garments that not only look visually stunning but also accentuate and complement the natural movement of the body. In terms of my personal designer style, it can be described as bold, confident, and undeniably sexy. I design for the woman who exudes self-confidence and isn't afraid to make a statement. My aim is to empower women to embrace their individuality and express themselves through fashion. My designs are for the fearless, the audacious, and the ones who dare to stand out in a crowd.
